Centered around the cuisine, decor and imagery of the French Quarter and New Orleans and creating the feel of the Big Easy, Toulouse is one of the most intricate and ambitiously built restaurants in a generation
Your restaurant is beautiful on the inside but what the hell is going on with the two-tone paint outside? The original textured green exterior looked warm and inviting. Why did you guys mess that up by starting to paint over it with that ugly aqua color and they never finishing the job?
pft... the whole place is beautiful, but more importantly, you serve the best food I've ever had. I can't claim an extensive knowledge of fine foods, but I've been a couple places and yours was the best! Of course, I only had breakfast...
Delicious and affordable food! I am so happy to have discovered this place. Coming from the Eastside, I will drive out of my way to visit. The quality of preparation and flavors was so satisfying. I visited with a group of 5 people. Each dish we ordered was very different and fantastic. I will spread the word!
We love Toulouse!!!! Their breakfast happy hour was featured on the food network, on the segment..."The best food I ever ate, bang for the buck", on 11/26/10. I've had breakfast numerous times, very partial to the cajun meatloaf with potatoes and scammbled eggs! So very tastey!!! Their lunch and dinner menu is incredible...and to top it all off...YOU must HAVE the BANANA CREAM PIE!!! Holy goodness! If you've never been to Toulouse....YOU need to go now! The best cajun food! Hands Down! Amanda in Downtown Seattle
I'm a New Orleans native who evacuated to Seattle after Katrina. Anyone who knows anything about N.O. natives knows that we are very critical of imitations of our cuisine. My husband has taken me there 2-3 times and boy have I been shocked. While I must admit the food is not identical replica, it captures the foundational tastes (which is very rarely done) and is thoroughly enjoyable. When I start to miss that Creole Cuisine can’t get home fast enough, Toulouse is a must. From my experience, it’s the best N.O. style restaurant in the region. Amanda (Federal Way)
